The Best View of Mount Rainier
White River Amphitheatre is an outstanding outdoor live music venue, in Auburn, Washington. It has a capacity of 16,000 and hosts many tours and live acts throughout the summer months. On a clear day the venue provides a stunning view of Mt. Rainier.
White River Amphitheatre & The Muckleshoot Tribe
The venue was built by the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe as a gift to everyone who appreciates and enjoys live music. The Muckleshoot Indian Tribe is a federally recognized Indian tribe whose membership is composed of descendants of the Duwamish and Upper Puyallup people who inhabited Central Puget Sound for thousands of years before non-Indian settlement. Following the Reservation’s establishment in 1857, the Tribe and its members came to be known as Muckleshoot. Today, the United States recognizes the Muckleshoot Tribe as a tribal successor to the Duwamish and Upper Puyallup bands from which the Tribe’s membership descends.Â
Music Festival Central
Our amphitheatre has hosted many music festivals, including Crüe Fest and Crüe Fest 2, Farm Aid, The Gigantour, The Mayhem Festival, Projekt Revolution, Ozzfest, The Uproar Festival and Vans Warped Tour for five years straight, from 2012 and through 2016.
